What is Benylin Chesty Coughs?

Benylin Chesty Coughs Non-Drowsy contains two active ingredients that work together to help relieve of chesty coughs:

• Guaifenesin (100mg)
• Levomenthol (1.1mg)

How does Benylin Chesty Coughs work?

Guaifenesin helps thin and loosen phlegm, making it easier to cough up. Levomenthol helps to relieve congestion making it feel easier to breathe.

Who is Benylin Chesty Coughs suitable for?

Benylin Cough Syrup is suitable for both adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Who is Benylin Chesty Coughs not suitable for?

Please consult with your GP before buying this medication if you:

• Have underlying medical conditions
• Have been taking other medication
• Have persistent symptoms
• Suffer from allergies
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

How do I take Benylin Chesty Coughs?

You should take two 5ml spoonfuls every 4-6 hours, up to four times a day.

Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side-effects.

If you experience any of the following stop using the medicine and seek medical help immediately:

• Allergic reactions
• Itching
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Stomach pain
• Diarrhoea
