The shampoo does not contain any silicones, which allows the hair to have more grip and strength.

How does it work?

The caffeine in the shampoo penetrates through the hair shaft and scalp to activate hair growth at the hair follicles.

How do I use it?

Wash your hair with Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo daily, leaving it in for 2 minutes before rinsing with water.

Do I need a prescription to buy it?

No, as Alpecin is an over the counter product, you can buy it in a local pharmacy and certain supermarkets.

Can I use it with Regaine or Finasteride?

Yes, you can use Alpecin alongside both Regaine and Finasteride as they work in different ways.

However, with Minoxidil (an active ingredient in Regaine), you have to keep the foam in your hair for at least 15 minutes before washing it out with Alpecin.
